Where is the Parquet?

Every time I lift a carpet I'm secretly hoping there is a beautiful parquet floor to find. Normally I find cheap concrete or butchered floor boards. Today I found glued down cork tiles and a leak in the central heating system...

Thankfully it's not a gushing leak but it's another thing that needs fixing. There are no isolating valves on the system so I fear it will mean the system needs to be drained before the fix can be done...
