King Street is around 2.5 km long, an almost intact strip of late Victorian and early Federation buildings. Shopfronts and pubs at street level, poky offices and old flats - and some new ones - above. The graffitied entrances and intercoms don’t give much away, but one set of friends have lived over a record shop since they arrived here nine years ago.
