Big red

Finally got out into the forest today for a hike. There is not much fall color here yet. A few trees with red leaves and a few yellow leaves on the ground from the poplars. I think the red might be sourwood.

Our weather is taking a turn toward cold in the next few days but it won’t stay that way. Still great daytime temps which make me want to be outside.

Have been enjoying that screened in porch for reading time!
