Sweetgum

Also know as Liquidambar or star gum. Found on our walk down to Brampton Park this afternoon. We visited the rescued birds in the aviary, and then a coffee in the Vintage Tearooms at the Brampton Museum.

We spent some time in the garden in the morning once the sun had made an appearance around the back of the house.

After the disappearance of our cat a couple of weeks ago, we have now acquired a tracker to attach to her collar. Once it was fitted and she didn't seem to mind it at all, we set her free to roam. Well, that was a revelation! She wanders a lot further than we ever thought, with a huge amount of backwards and forwards through several gardens in the area. Fascinating stuff....
