A wonderful day with family

The main purpose of our trip to Reykjavík was to visit family. My daughter + husband and 2 children live in Reykjavík, and our son + wife and their two boys live in Reykjanesbær (45 min drive from R.vík). Today was a family "outing" but my daughter in law was working and couldn't join us. 

We started in Sandgerði where we visited a nature museum, and then we drove the short distance to Garður, where there is a beach and a rather famous (amongst photographers) old lighthouse. My husband allowed the boys to try out his drone, and everyone was happy. The boy in the yellow jacket is Hendrik Nói, a cousin of Matthías, who came along for the day. 

P.S. Erik (my daughter's son was not in a mood to be photographed  today).
