A moment’s rest

Not feeling great after yesterday’s booster. I woke up in the night with a fever and feel nauseous this morning. So much so that I sent apologies for my 8am meeting. Not like me!
Then I had to go to town to get a replacement tyre for one with a nail in it. Whilst it was being fitted I bought a meal deal and ate it sitting on Captain Fryatt’s memorial in the old church yard. Most of the graves are untended and in states of decay. It’s a fascinating spot full of drowned dock workers; memorials to the war dead and other tragedies!

Returned to a coffee in the garden and hopefully that will fuel me to be super efficient this afternoon because now I am seriously behind.

**was not super efficient. Some idiots climbed up the QE Bridge so spent 45minutes changing plans and then an unplanned evening driving/ queuing to Dartford where by bad luck I am working tomorrow and couldn’t risk not getting here on time. Grrr.
