New art work

All the grandchildren have some art up in the wall except Elijah who isn’t into art or colouring in. He is 5. We minded him all day and for the first 4 hours he and Poppy discussed fruit and electric currents. They ended up attaching a multimeter to a carrot, tomato and potato. There was a slightly different reading for each. So interesting. Not. I made some orange jam. He was persuaded to do an art work and this is clearly labeled as cog. Motor and Battery. We framed it and hung it up on the wall. He was chuffed and started another with wires, multimeter and battery which was coloured in. He then spent an hour trying to clean our toilet which has old stains in it. I’ve been trying to clean it for the 15 years we have lived here. I said stains were different from a dirty toilet but I’m not sure he agreed.

Next job was to pick up Oscar and Charlie from their school, Maddy from hers and Max from his. Pop and Elijah made some pancake batter which we cooked when we got home. Nina, Leo and Kristy all came as well so we had a right royal mess when they left.
