Steaming beach

A lovely day at Weston-super-mare; albeit it prematurely ended when John fell into a hole he had dug and landed on his bucket.

Cut on his nose, and a dent on his eyebrow; and a very very sombre boy after that.

Had some lovely shots of the boys playing together on the beach, and some glum shots of John's cuts and bruises; but I couldn't resist this.

A nice warm sun, and the shadow of the grand pier allowed the wet sand to dry out quite nicely (and quickly); hence the 'steam' rising.
