The Commando Bar

Off to Spean Bridge for some wet walking with my eldest. After a 3 and a half hour drive in a monsoon it's straight to the Commando Bar for fish and chips and beer. In WW2 the commandos trained nearby and Spean Bridge hotel has a wee exhibition about what they got up to when training and during the war.
Further up the road is the Commando Monument with impressive views of the Ben and Grey Corries. No chance of a view today though.
