Legends of the Fall

TGR bought these to decorate the table for thanksgiving dinner just over a week ago. How time flies …one minute we’re a family at play (see yesterday’s blip) and the next thing you know you’re empty nesters and re-arranging the furniture again. 

Got up at 6.30 to take her to the airport. Horrendous traffic would you believe. The terminal 2 road tunnel remains an intermittent congestion hot spot, and we even had to queue to get out of the short stay car park afterwards. 

I hate saying goodbye when she goes back to Canada and it gets harder as I get older. But I’m happy that she is happy. We only touch the lives of others, we can’t and shouldn’t control them. And the last two weeks have been full of happy memories.
