Baby cuddles

Mollie is ending her fun filled weekend with a cuddle with Levi, her cousins baby, and the youngest member of the family. As Josh and Mollie are both in school jobs where they can’t take annual leave outside the school holidays, they will be heading back early in the morning. But today has been another full day with bowls, a meal out for 19 then roller skating and swimming. I didn’t swim - I’m saving that for tomorrow but I did spend an hour skating. My leg muscles are now suffering but it was good fun and with varying levels of skill among us, we zoomed around the rink. Jenny, Jon and Gemma kindly watched on from the side.

Jon and I then went for another nature filled walk through the grounds, by the lake and back to prepare tea. We then all gathered for an afternoon of chatting about family history, and general togetherness.

The swimmers returned and we had tea. We are finishing our day with games. Balderdash is first. Then tidying up…
