Making Hay

A beautiful sunny autumn day.  I watched kids football this morning (another defeat for my team, but only 2 0 this time)  then gardened in the afternoon.  I sowed a packet of mixed wildflower seeds and one of yellow rattle on a third of our mini meadow after opening up some bare earth for them.  I did the first strim on another part and rake and mow on the third part.  It's more work than just moving a lawn but much more interesting and rewarding.
