Knaresborough

As a belated celebration of Isobel's Birthday, by about 4 months, we spent Saturday in the Yorebridge Hotel in Wensleydale, near Hawes.

On our way back we stopped off for a coffee and cake in Knaresborough.  The main Blip is the famous bridge, restored after it fell down in 1848, weeks before it was officially opened, finally opening in 1851

The extra is Knaresborough Station, looking like it hasn't changed since the late 1800's when it opened
