Can I heck.

Took the mutt out through the woods and inexplicably the new car would not lock. Tried opening and shutting all the doors and pressing the button on the fob. Nothing. There is one keyhole on the passenger door, tried that - nothing. Left the car unlocked and walked the dog.

Mulling it over narrowed it down to the battery flat in the fob, central locking fuse has blown or the system is fritzed. Got home and investigated. Working perfectly. No idea. I'll let it develop.
