Portrait of Libby

As I did a blip yesterday of dog portraits observed at an Art Fair I thought I would photograph the one we have of our dog Libby. This was done in 2014 by my nieces husband when he was just starting out doing pet portraits, from a photograph I sent him.  It is such a good likeness and the detail is amazing. Everyone thinks it’s very good and several friends have also had him do their dogs portraits.  Libby still looks the same with unruly tufts of fur but it now has quite a few grey hairs !

This morning I took the grandchildren to their swimming lesson, it’s in a lovely little, very warm, 15m pool where they are taught in groups of three with one instructor. They are both doing well and it is so much better than being in a big class of say 20 in a bigger pool.
After we had the family to lunch and then played some boards games.

Now I need to take Libby for a walk!
