Autumn Goose Watch

The pink-footed geese at Aberlady return here every winter, mostly from Greenland and Iceland. We joined the ranger this evening to watch them coming into the bay where they roost for the evening after spending their days feeding on surrounding farmland. Approximately 10000 arrived in the space of an hour.
