Turkish Theater

Today I went to my 1st Turkish Play in Sisli. Although I did not understand most of it- it was a great experience. I was in good company and talent is talent in any language. The two actors in the play could sing and act so well. I really enjoyed it and I am thankful for the experience. I only wish that I could understand the dialogue...

On our way back from the play we took the metro. It was full of Galatasaray fans...it was a sea of red and yellow. Some people were even doing the songs of the team. I love the passion the people here feel for their football teams.

I also got a surprise friend request on facebook that I am thankful for as well... It has been difficult to separate my work life from my social life for a little while now ( I live on campus). My good friend Tulu told me I really need to make some friends outside of school...I took her advice and it seems to be paying off. I am thankful for the new friends I have and I am thankful for the good advice.


It was a good Istanbul day and I am thankful for that. Hence the picture.
