Walking out to the island

Saturday
Had a walk from school brae along the Almond to Cramond foreshore in the morning.
A kingfisher darted past us along the river and we saw a heron tucked away up high in the trees. The tide was way out and lots of people were walking over to Cramond Island. Nice clear views of Fife and along to Berwick law and the bass rock.
Calum came over at lunchtime and we dropped him home again at teatime. Lent him our heated clothes airer to try as he's thinking of getting one.
