Afternoon ferry (Day 2717)

A busy kind of a day started off with a trip into town to get the last few bits of the bathroom finished off for now, and to clear out my tools. I have gone over estimate on time and have other work booked for Monday. It is just as well that the customer is fairly laid back about everything. Once I had the bathroom stuff out of the way, I made my way along to visit another customer who needed some advice on the bathroom they are ripping out in anticipation of my arrival there to fit the new bathroom.
Home to my beautiful wife and a bit of housework then out with Sigyn after lunch in a torrential downpour.
After drying off for a little while at home, we all headed through to Stromness. Sigyn was dropped off at Mum and Dad's while HV and I headed to the horses. The plan had been to get out a ride, but the weather was rubbish, so we did field chores instead. George, who I haven't seen for a week, seemed very pleased to see me.
Chores done, we spotted Dad out walking and getting caught in another downpour. We bundled him in the car and dropped him back at his car, re-convening for dinner and a fine evening with him and Mum.
