Goodbye

A service was held this afternoon to mark the retirement of two of our GP's. It was a lovely occasion with much appreciation and humour. They have been our doctors since we moved here over 20 years ago and we shall miss them. We met one of the girls at the service who used to attend our church holiday club for a number of years, and became one of the helpers as she got older. She now has a very successful career in university student recruitment and gets to travel all over Europe. It was nice to catch up with her again.

The weather is nice and sunny today, although the wind is still a bit chilly.
