A Window on the World

The world of Stromness harbour.  This morning the amount of rain, in a short time, was of Biblical proportions.  So, after dining at the Pierhead Café, we sort shelter in the warm cocoon of the library.  Who needs books ?  The two couches provide an ideal spot for an overview of vessel comings and goings and post-prandial nap; as certain EH Blippers know.  It’s almost been a day off
 
The library also contains a superb piece of art by Calum Morrison which has previously been Blipped.
 
Early evening and CMC has departed for KW15.  Along with her musical accompaniment they are providing ‘background accordion music’ for an event.  If there’s a change of airt you may hear your pet howl.
