Southport

It is a long walk to the end of the pier.
The weather forecast was for very wet weather but apart from a little drizzle when we left the hotel it was dry for the morning so we had another good walk around, and, of course, had to spend some money in the shops. The afternoon was a bit wet but we sat in the hotel lounge and had a chat with our friends.
