I got a call last night to say they had a spare appointment at the blood donors today (I was on the standby list, not just a random call) so I dutifully turned up for donation number 50!

Not sure I ever thought I'd reach 50 and certainly never imagined I'd get a Welsh Blood Service pin badge for it.
