One Last Time

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

I am so tired. I think I've got a mild version of a cold that Caro has been struggling with*.

But it's enough to sap my strength and make me feel a bit blah.

So I was so NOT in the mood for a screening of "Hamilton" using our technology in the office. I organised it because Briar hassled me** but THEN she pulled out at the last minute so I had to do it all myself.

Not that I'm bitter.

It wasn't all bad news. Lemon from MPI also is obsessed with Hamilton so she came along! It's been nearly a year since I've seen her and she was in a great mood. "I nearly forgot how much I love this!" she hissed at me as the opening song started. 

She told me later that she is now banned from playing the soundtrack in the house. 

So it was a decent evening. But after yesterday's workshop I was heartily glad to get home later that evening. 

And THAT is definitely my last "Hamilton" evening***.

* Caro's RA meds are immune suppressants, and it is noticeable that she gets colds for longer and with more severe symptoms these days. 

** Seriously. She LOVES this show. She can quote it even better than me.
