Can it rise again?

There are signs that this was used as a teaching garden in the days of the kindergarten. A few onion sets remain amongst the weeds. Every time I pass, I long for a garden fork.

There is not much point in starting anything now. Since I don't have any garden implements here, I meant to ask for help from one of the gardners, but kept losing my nerve. Perhaps I'll ask them to weed it and turn it for me over the summer, and I'll plant some winter veg later on. Friend Merril yearns for rhubbarb. Will she bring back some corms from England??
