Alcatraz

Stepping back in time a little bit but this is creatively what I've been doing today. I've been gently reminded that the family photos from our California trip need to be precessed and sorted, a job I've been neglecting in favour my landscapes and flower photography so I've been selecting and processing ready to make a photobook. I did come across these images from the exercise yard of Alcatraz again though and did some converting in Silver Efex. It was such an emotive place I hope the conversion conveys the sense of oppression and foreboding I felt as I walked around the place.
