Farming life

I was at Rheged near Penrith this evening for an event organised by the Friends of the Lake District entitled 'What Future for the Cumbrian Uplands?'  The panel included Lee Schofield from RSPB, Haweswater, and Neil Hudson MP (who said he was very pleased to have got away from Parliament this evening...)  The photo comes from the exhibition 'Forty Farms' by Amy Bateman, taken in her lambing parlour.
