Thank Friday It’s Crumpet

a colleague’s crumpet-mumbling the other day clearly struck a snack influencing gland in me. Couldn’t get the damned things out of my head so gave in, and lunch today was gloriously well-toasted crumpet, with cream cheese and Marmite atop, but gradually sinking into its cratered surface.

Lunchtime crumpet is bliss.    ;-)))
