The small patch of Michaelmas Daisies are nearly over, this was the  best of them.

A hairdo for me first thing and dental checkups for both of us late morning and I'm glad to say all was well with both of us.  Back home and I prepared lunch, those mushrooms from yesterday fried in a little butter and served on toast - very nice and so full of flavour.  Both of us are fine thus far and they didn't have any hallucinogenic effects either apart from the fact that Mr HB is cooking dinner this evening - my #1 daughter and our lovely friend Rose will be joining us too - no, it's not a dream - Mr HB is cooking!!
