Golden Age

To the Golden Age to see You Won’t Be Alone (Macedonia/Australia, 2022) downstairs in the old Paramount Pictures’ building in Surry Hills. The 60-seat cinema (the former screening room) and bar are restored to their Art Deco glory. No talking, no mobile phone screens, no popcorn. Bliss.

I had to read up on the film later to understand what happened.
