Bright Red

Today's jog to the Tangiwai Reserve and back was a bit more tiring than I'd expected. These red flowers are on a large tree beside Huia Road as I join it. The tree lost a considerable number of branches during the big storms of a couple of months ago, and is presently covered in clusters of flowers.
