The cottage was so cold when we arrived, unpacked, heating on, wood burner lite and off for a walk in the sun.
Hubby drove as he suggested it would be better not to put stress on my knee, I hate being a passenger in my own car so I read. Finished the book.
The kitchen is nice and warm but as I am sat in the sitting room I have a blanket over me, it will warm up tomorrow, and hot water bottles for the bed tonight.
