Bonfire day

Who doesn't like the crackling of flames.  Green Gym burning some coppiced willow.  Everything a bit damp and took ages to get it started.  Fortunately one of our number is a scout leader and he finally managed to use his skills to get some flames.
We all got well 'kippered' and most people wearing fleeces discovered little melted holes here and there!
Dental check up in the afternoon and given the all clear.  Had to collect a prescription so did manage to buy my diary for 2023.  I am fussy on which type I like and they soon sell out.  A few Christmas cards also might have  dropped into my basket.
