Duke of Edinburgh ............

.............. on One Street Main Street.

This is a common sight here at weekends and holidays. Young people taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme come to this area to complete their unaccompanied outdoor expedition. This usually involves walking and at least one overnight stay under canvas.

I spotted this lot in the Main Street this morning. I think they got lucky weatherwise. When I ran into them it was sunny and although breezy their was a warmth in the air. Just before I took this they had been consulting their maps and looked surprisingly fresh after their night outdoors.

The sky has now turned grey and the drizzle has commenced.
