Landing - Four Years Later

Back at the track this morning for the final two events of our friend's Nevada Senior Games competition. I had captured a similar image to this one when we were here in 2018. This time I did not have the benefit of a borrowed Canon 1DX Mark II, but I did have the advantage of frontal sunshine. My nearly thirteen year-old 1D Mark IV struggled a bit with the focus, the shot prior to this - with the subject's face visible -  is a smidge soft, but I managed to capture another sand-spray, long jump photo. Two for two!
