Golden leaves

I was meant to join some friends for a walk in the Kent countryside today, but I had to cancel as the technician was coming to fix the home automation system today - after waiting six weeks for the usual technician to come we finally decided to call it quits with him and use someone else who was recommended to us.

Instead I took Xena for a long walk in the woods, finding more fungi (I am getting a bit obsessed!). The forecast was for rain but instead it has been sunny and so I was drawn to the light on these autumn leaves. 

The new technician came when he said he would and he fixed the problems we have been having very quickly and efficiently. I thought our large TV was broken as it was not working but it was only a home automation system upgrade that was required, what a relief.

I am about to take Xena for another walk as it is still sunny and then I need to get the train to London as we have a Skinners Company dinner tonight, it is their annual autumn dinner and they usually have a very interesting guest speaker.
