....or it could be Mrs.  Either way, I was happy to see them enjoying one another's company though when it comes to crabs it seems it's every bird for him/her self.  Definitely no sharing going on there!  The highlight of today's reccy though was capturing one of the pair in the tree (extra).  They have apparently been scoping out up to about six holes in the tree so if they do decide to nest in there, it will be pot luck as to whether they choose a site that gives me good sight of their comings and goings.  R & R have again very generously given me permission to pop in to their garden when and if I need to to see and hopefully capture them.  It seems the birds may need a trip to Specsavers too as they've been regularly flying in to one of R & R's windows.  R has draped some netting around and off the window in the hope of deterring them - and maybe even saving them from injury.
