Searching For Peanuts

The squirrels have enough peanuts buried in the yard to last through the winter but they are always looking for more.  For the first time ever I ran out of peanuts and they weren't at all interested in my explanation as to why that happened.  It was only a short peanut-less interval but certainly not acceptable to the squirrels.  

I pointed out to the squirrels something that I hadn't noticed before: the Stellar's Jays follow the squirrels around and dig up the peanuts they bury.  They can't get them all so everything should be okay.
