Adelaide Oval Tour
Today a group of us from OGH did the Adelaide Oval Tour. It is a behind-the-scenes look at this magnificent new structure. The oval or Stadium is one of the world’s most scenic arenas.
The Adelaide Oval dates back to 1871 where it is best known for cricket, now AFL (Australian Rules Football) and a venue for concerts, international rugby and more.
Next time we will do the RoofClimb tour where you can walk around the whole arena on the roof-tops, wearing full safety gear.
The main photo shows the old and the new, where they built this new section of the stands over the existing heritage original brick stands. The extra shows the oval as seen from the viewing window inside the old score board. The stadium holds just under 60,000 people.
