Chincoteague Sunrise
We had seen this location yesterday on our way to the beach for sunrise and decided we would go back for sunrise this morning. We were stunned when we arrived and saw the beautiful mist. Just before the sun came above the horizon, the clouds turned this incredible pink and with their reflection captured in the still water. The setting really needed a wide angle lens and my widest lens was only 24 mm, but Wendy had a 16 mm, so I can't wait to see her shots.
This was about 10 minutes before sunrise.
We went back to the hotel for breakfast and to check out and then came back to the same location across from our morning view and there were many of the famous Chincoteague wild ponies grazing quite close to us. Several mares had foals which was just beautiful to see. (see extra). It was the perfect ending for a fabulous three days.
