Birth certificate.

Ted is having a look at my great, great, grandads birth certificate which you can see there is no fathers name and Alice his mother signed with a cross.
I have started again with my family history and I have done a DNA test which tells me I am over 85% English.
The true line of course is the woman's line and I have got back to Kirby Mallam in the Yorkshire dales in the late 1700s. So far.
