Autumn Booster Day

Covid Autumn Booster for Ben and I today.  I was a bit worried about going in together incase he struggled and then we would both end up missing out.  But it worked out well.  By complete coincidence one of the volunteers I used to manage, when I worked for Home-Start was administering the vaccine, she was so good with Ben and said she was happy to meet him after hearing about him when we worked together.  It sort of took the edge off the process and we were done in a jiffy.  He undertook the important task of choosing a sticker and was back to school by 10:30.  Photo was from straight after the jab.
I made some pesto and organised wrapping and posting some presents, then it was time to fetch Ben again.  He seemed happy enough with school, classic case of 'no news is good news!'  
Mr KCNQ2Haiku was back late from the concert last night, so he's tired.  Early night tonight I think!  I hope our arms don't feel too sore in the morning :-)
