Sitting ducks

Worked this morning and working this evening.
Needed a bit of fresh air so Lottie and I went for a long walk around the valley. Good for both of us.

These ducks come around every year around now. Possibly sitting on nests. We have streams around. The owner of this house always put food out and so the ducks have learnt to hang around. The cats know about the ducks too so it’s a balancing act for the duck- get the food but don’t let the cats get you!

Had a good chat to a neighbour down the road on our walk, she knows absolutely everything about what’s going on . Very nice person and I’m always amazed at the things she finds out, births, deaths, marriages/ break ups, house sales and prices!!
Her name is Karen! ( for real).
