Shabby Retro Cool
We went down to the Station St Market this morning to take some candid shots of people - which I'd never done before. I got a couple of really good ones. That was the plan for my blip, until I saw this thing of pure wonder!
It's a beat up 1955 Chevrolet Belair station wagon, and it just had to be my blip for today!
It was quite a character, with Mexican blankets draped over the seats, a Hawaiian lei in the back. And of course, to complete the look, a wooden surf board, mounted on a bamboo roof rack.
It wouldn't look out of place by a beach in Florida, or Hawaii.
The weather has well and truly packed up. It's rather windy and I don't think the rain is too far away.
I just hope the weather's a bit better for our holiday in a weeks time. I'm really looking forward to the great shots I'm going to get, with a change of scenery.
I'll probably spend the rest of the afternoon perusing the accommodation guide for somewhere nice (but not expensive!) to stay...
