Baby blanket

I love to make something special for new arrivals in the family! With various time commitments and the aches and pains, a crochet blanket seems like the best option.
I found this pattern on Ravelry, and it’s good because the colour keeps changing and there’s a new set of stitches every few rows, to keep it interesting. Hopefully it will be ready for next time Katie and Andrew visit, or else for the Xmas visit. 
Baby isn’t due until April so no rush!
We are trying to get packed ready for our 40th anniversary celebration in Mallorca, but it’s a bit of a struggle as there’s so much else to do - for instance I have two Xmas cakes to bake before we go! Why? Well they are better when they have time to mature!
