Not much surf for surfing

A beautiful morning with not a breath of wind, so we walked the coast path across to Putsborough, where we sat and had morning coffee, and were joined by a robin.

I have never seen the beach so quiet, we almost had it to ourselves, and there are very few seabirds, more black headed gulls than anything.  It would seem that Avian flu has decimated the gull population.

We ambled back across the beach, occasionally having to work back up the beach to avoid the incoming tide, which in some spots comes in in semi-circular waves, not at all what you expect.

I’ve added lots of extras, so please don’t feel obliged to trawl through them all.  I’ve enjoyed creating them because I love the sea and will miss it when we leave tomorrow.
