One shot

After a trip to the gym decided on a local walk. Went to see the progress on the forestry work further up the valley in my favourite Beech wood. What a disaster area. Large machinery has churned up the ground. Whilst I accept the need to take out diseased wood and thin the trees I feel a more sympathetic approach would be better. Bring back horses to drag out the felled wood.

Spotted these fine flowers still putting on a performance when this Red Admiral put in an appearance. It didn’t hang about before fluttering off. One shot was all I got!
