Quayside

Following an information-heavy visit to the bank on my mum’s behalf I felt the need for a few moments of calm. Cue an oat milk mocha and a seat on the quayside on a beautiful autumn day. I’ve blipped the bridge before but it was the obvious candidate for today’s entry, being just too lovely to ignore. While sitting in the sun and watching the ducks, I chatted to an elderly couple who told me their fascinating life story and their plans for the future now he’d had a stroke and she has early stage dementia. It was a very pleasant break from family admin.
