View from a Long-Boat

Opposed to a short-boat, we took a long-boat taxi across the Chao Phraya river in Bangkok. It's not too long of a ride, but the view was definitely worth it! We were traveling a bit south of Bangkok on an afternoon trip with my Thai small group friends.

I was amazed at how it seemed like we had entered a different world on the other side of the river. The houses were farther apart and the vegetation more overgrown. It was beautiful and peaceful, a very "upcountry"/out in the jungle feeling. Wonderful be among nature and breathe some fresh air!
