Berries

A thought occurred to me this afternoon. Is it legal to use e-scooters on the roads and pavements in Aberdeen? I rather thought their use on public roads and pavements was illegal here. I saw a couple while I was out today. Are they blessed with invisibility cloaks when they see a police presence? I suppose it is usually too difficult for a police car to approach them, or else the police turn a Nelsonian eye to them.
